Dr AnilKumar Gaikwad is an officer of Maharashtra Service of Engineers, and he is the Vice Chairman and Managing Director, MSRDC (A Government of Maharashtra Undertaking). He joined PWD Maharashtra in the year 1989 as an Assistant Executive Engineer. During his service life he was responsible for construction of many prestigious projects of buildings, National Highways and State Highway projects. He was promoted to the grade of Chief Engineer in 2015 and posted in MSRDC and he was made Joint MD (Engineering). Dr. Gaikwad became Secretary, Public Works Department (Maharashtra) in 2020 and was made responsible for mega-projects like Mumbai – Nagpur Samruddhi Expressway and several others. He has been appointed as Vice-Chairman & Managing Director of MSRDC in November 2023. Dr. Gaikwad is recipient of Best Engineer Award of Govt. of Maharashtra and also Honorary Doctorate from Shridhar University, Pilani, Rajasthan in 2023.
